Currently I'm a grad student going for my MBA, while working and living in Rhode Island, USA. I'm 23 years old and for the past 6 years I've been sure to carve out time in my busy weeks for shooting, editing, and marketing across multiple platforms; as well as keeping my website up to date. I've grown my body of work and this business over those past 6 years and am finally able to exercise a level of humble pride in my craft. It has certainly not been easy, but I can say it's always been well worthwhile. I truly love what I do and strive to make an onlooker simply pause, if just for a moment.
The Vision
I find the nature and history of photography itself, striking. Being able to capture a moment in permanent fashion amazes me. The ability to inscribe light upon something tangible is elusive and mystical in itself. I believe this mysticism is reflected in my work, where I strive to focus on the big and small details of each picture I create. In most shoots, I aim to forge thought provoking commentary, usually to do with the human experience. Each time, I try focus on a new aspect of of the practice, in one way or another, with the goal of improvement in mind. Additionally, I have been fortunate enough to travel several times with the duplicity of my studies and my business in mind. These opportunities, each one hell of an adventure, have certainly helped me achieve these goals and I couldn't be more grateful. For commissioned work, I aim to uphold the same principles, obviously with the consumer in mind.
